Air Emission Monitoring
As members of the Source Testers Association (STA), City Analysts Ltd. are fully committed to offering quality Air Emission Monitoring to many different industries. In the absence of an Irish equivalent, City Analysts have fully subscribed to the UKAS driven MCERT accreditation scheme for stack emission monitoring and are currently in the process of getting full certification. Noise Monitoring
City Analysts offer many services in the area of Noise Monitoring ensuring that all requirements are assessed in relation to relevant and current legislation. Our clients range across the board including:-
- Local Authorities - Landfill sites
- Private Industry - IPPC and Waste Licence Compliance Monitoring
- Consulting Engineers - EIS Baseline and predictive Noise analysis
- Construction Industry - Baseline and Compliance Monitoring
All measurement and reporting is carried out by our fully competent Acoustics section and all surveys are carried out according to specific standards including:-
Environmental Noise:
- ISO 1996/1/2/3 - Acoustics -Description and Measurement of Environmental Noise
- BS 4142: Method for rating industrial noise affecting mixed residential and industrial areas
Occupational Noise:
- European Communities (Protection of Workers) (Exposure to Noise) Regulations, 1990 (SI No. 157 of 1990)
- Council Directive 86/188/EEC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to noise at work
- Directive 2003/10/EC on the minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from physical agents (noise)
