Deerac Fluidics announces the release of its new four (4) reagent, 16-channel Latitude reagent dispenser. This new Latitude provides the capability to dispense up to four (4) different reagents for high speed, low-volume applications, such as HTS. According to David Lorenz, VP Sales & Marketing, “Almost as soon as we had launched the Latitude earlier this year, we received requests for additional reagent capabilities. This new Latitude is a direct response to those requests from our customers”.

The Latitude family of products now offers the capability to dispense from 1-4 reagents, across a wide range of volumes (0.05 to 50µL). Dispense capabilities include gradients by row or column and across the plate,.as well as  region dispenses. It has a single, robot-friendly, plate position which can handle all well plate formats 96, 384, and 1536 well plates. The Latitude has a simple to use touch screen display, and does not require a PC. The Latitude can be used as either a stand alone reagent dispenser or integrated into a fully automated robotic system. 

The Latitude is based on Deerac Fluidics proprietary spot-on™ low-volume dispensing technology.  The technology enables high speed, non-contact dispensing for low volume assays.  For example, a 1536-well plate can be filled in less than 15 seconds.

The Latitude will be on view at the upcoming Biotechnica conference in Hannover, booth number 39, Hall 003, Floor B.
